Abstract
Emanuel Fliegelman DO, 1942 discusses his experiences as a Jewish student at the College and as a member of the Lambda Omicron Gamma fraternity, clinical experience in the predominantly poor and minority Eastwick section of Philadelphia as an OB/GYN intern, the difficulty of gaining clinical experience at the College or at allopathic hospitals in Philadelphia, and the establishment of the Metropolitan Hospital by PCO graduates.
