Abstract
Arnold Gerber DO, 1940 entered PCO as a pre-osteopathy program student immediately after graduating from West Philadelphia High School in 1935. During the interview, Gerber discusses the history of the U.S. Armed Forces recognition of DO credentials and relations between DO and allopathic physicians, athletic and fraternity life at the College, and the development of orthopedics as a specialty in osteopathic medicine and as a residency program at PCO.
