Voices from the Floor

About This Journal

'Voices from the Floor' is a collection of clinically-related experiences of students, faculty, employees, patients, and clinicians associated with PCOM, recorded by the editors in a conversational setting.

Individual experiences narrated often are shared with family and close friends. The collective PCOM community, however is frequently unaware of such experiences and therefore unable to benefit from these situations.

Many of these encounters provide valuable insights relevant to the practice of medicine. Others contain a reassuring familiarity that helps us understand that we are not alone in our efforts to arrive at appropriate solutions to healthcare-related issues.

This anthology was designed to provide a vehicle of education and communication for the individuals most essential to the vitality and function of our Institution.
