Abstract
This case involves a patient seen in the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Clinic with sudden, painless onset of loss of visual field five weeks following craniotomy for meningioma removal. Homonymous hemianopsia and the epidemiology of meningioma are briefly reviewed. The patient's loss of visual field resolved completely immediately following the application of osteopathy in the cranial field. While the synchronicity may suggest that the two events are causally linked, further clinical evidence is required before such an effect can be attributed to osteopathic intervention. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
