Description
Hasan Ayaz is an Assistant Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University, and a member of Drexel University Cognitive Neuroengineering and Quantitative Experimental Research (CONQUER) Collaborative, Philadelphia, PA. He received his BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkiye with high honors. Starting in 2001, he worked on developing optical biomedical systems such as continuous wave functional near infrared sensors, FDA approved portable medical devices and enabling software for brain monitoring instruments that were licensed and globally distributed. Dr. Ayaz’s research interests include neuroengineering applications of human computer interaction and Neuroergonomics.
