Description
Paul H. Thomas, DO (1955), PhD, who served a short term as dean from 1969 until his sudden, untimely death in 1972, initiated significant reforms in the curriculum, which went into effect during the 1970-71 academic year. The basic changes in all four years of the program emphasized earlier clinical education in the Hospital and under physicians in practice at PCOM's satellite facilities.
