Description
Dr. Alex Ophir is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Cornell University. His lab utilizes classic field and laboratory techniques in combination with modern molecular tools to examine the roles of specific brain regions in coordinating social recognition and diverse attributes of temperament related to attachment, aggression, and care-giving. Since 2009, Dr. Ophir’s neuroscience research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, and/or National Science Foundation.
