Description

Diane S. Salter, PhD, Esquire, is a clinical psychologist and attorney, with private practices in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties. She earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Adelphi University-Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. She later earned a JD from Rutgers School of Law-Camden. In addition to maintaining a private practice in psychology and law, Dr. Salter is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, Dr. Salter served as the National Director of Behavioral Health and Chief Psychologist for VisionQuest National, with programs in eight states. Dr. Salter has extensive experience in training, lecturing and publishing on a wide range of topics involving psychology and/or legal issues, ethics and diversity. Dr. Salter has served as president of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and was the Pennsylvania representative to the American Psychological Association Council of Representatives. She has consulted with numerous agencies concerning ethical, clinical, bioethical and legal issues.
